Welcome

Thank you for helping translate these letters. All efforts and skill levels are welcome, so please give it try! All efforts, from a few lines to many pages are welcome.

Getting Started

Each document includes a translate icon that will open a pre-addressed message in your email browser.

Move that email on your screen so you can also see the document in your web browser. Type your translation in the marked space in the email. When you are satisfied with what you've done send the email. That's it! 

What Happens Next?

Each submission will be reviewed and added as a translated page alongside the original scanned letter. 

Corrections?

If you see a published mistake just use the translate icon again to submit a new email with a correction. No need to do the entire document again. Your correction will be reviewed and added to the site.

Acknowledgement

If you wish to be identified as contributing please include your initials in the translation email. We can add your initials as a tag to any document you work on. Nobody is required to be identified on the site, although at the project we may communicate with your at the email you use to submit translations.
