The Minot State University History Department is particularly grateful to the Reiten family for donating these digitized materials for the benefit of students and the broader public.

Funding for digitization was partly underwritten by a grant from the North Dakota University System's program to encourage Open Educational Resources. This grant included crucial support for an undergraduate history major, Ian Geller, to digitize hundreds of pages of letters and related materials.

Technology support from Minot State University allowed stable creation of a "static" web site hosting the History Department's OER materials.
